Refund & Return Policy

At Dandito’s Special Saus, every bottle is made by hand in small batches with care, heat, and plenty of attitude.
Because our sauces are food products, we have to keep strict standards — that means we do not accept returns or offer refunds except in limited circumstances described below.

By placing an order on danditos.ca, you agree to this policy.


1. All Sales Are Final

Due to the nature of our products (edible, perishable, and sealed for safety), all sales are final.
We cannot accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as:

  • Change of mind

  • Personal taste preference

  • Ordering the wrong item or quantity

Once a product leaves our hands, it cannot legally or safely be restocked.


2. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We stand behind every shipment.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@danditos.ca with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the product and packaging

  • A short description of the issue

After reviewing the evidence, we may (at our discretion) offer one of the following:

  • A replacement of the same item

  • A store credit for the value of the damaged product

Refunds will only be issued if replacement or credit is not possible and are solely at our discretion.


3. Shipping & Delivery Issues

We are not responsible for delays, losses, or damages caused by third-party carriers (Canada Post, UPS, etc.).
Once your package is shipped, it becomes the carrier’s responsibility.

If a shipment is lost or significantly delayed, we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier — but refunds will not be issued for carrier issues beyond our control.


4. Returned or Refused Packages

If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, or unclaimed pickup, the customer is responsible for:

  • The original shipping cost

  • Any return shipping fees

No refunds will be issued for refused or unclaimed orders.


5. Order Cancellations

Because we prepare orders quickly, cancellations are only accepted within 1 hour of purchase, and only if the order has not yet shipped.

Once an order is processed, packed, or shipped — it cannot be canceled or refunded.

We’re a small Calgary operation — not a faceless factory. Every bottle we send out is made and packed by real hands.
We ask for understanding that once it leaves our kitchen, it’s yours to enjoy.
